Earlier this month Oroma Foundation and Saving Africa’s Nature – SANA in Tanzania, started working together to find a solution to the water challenge at Gongo village. This comes after many years the Village has experienced difficulties in accessing clean and safe water for human consumption. As a result, this situation leads people to consume unsafe water thus, exposing themselves to contaminate waterborne diseases. Throughout the month, the team has held several meetings with members of the community, hydrologists and geologists, in order to understand the problem until a solution was reached. The next step will be resource mobilization and implementation of the projects. More information on the matter will be shared in the upcoming days.
